Greg is not having a great year with the D-Backs.
He came in last night to start the 9th inning vs. Miami (worst record in NL) with the D-Backs leading 2-1. Greg faced 4 batters. 2 hits; one BB and he got one out. Marlins won the game 3-2 walk-off. Greg got credited with a Blown Save and he also got the L.
So far this year, he has had 22 Save Opportunities and has 17 saves. That means 5 Blown Saves.
Most he has ever had during any season in the ML; even full seasons.
2013 - KC - Save Opportunities - 50. Saves - 47 2014 - KC - Save Opportunities - 48. Saves - 46 2015 - KC - Save Opportunities - 37. Saves - 32 (hampered by arm trouble in last half of the season.) 2016 - missed the season due to Tommy John surgery 2017 - Rockies - Save Opportunities - 45. Saves - 41 2018 - disaster season when he missed Spring Training due to contract hold out. Part season with Cardinals and part season with Washington. Save Opportunities (both teams) - 6. Saves - 3
