Last week the 2-deep roster was posted early in the day on Monday. It's now Tuesday evening, and no new roster has been posted. I wonder if this mean anything, like there will be some names missing from the roster, and they don't want to show their hand too early in the week?
Not posting the 2-deep roster, and no discussion about the suspensions on the coaches show last night, and nothing official put out by the university on the suspensions, leads me to believe the worst.
I just don't know how bad the "worst" possibly can be.

I just don't know how bad the "worst" possibly can be. I think I would had blood tests done when the Football Players reported for preseason practice & again prior to the first game of the season. I also think Coach Speir looked a bit stressed out in his interview Monday. WCU will hide bad behavior by Athletes until they are forced to explain facts. In the case of the 4 Athletes, I think they are trying to protect the Football Players & keep them from public humiliation. The NCAA might have different policies regarding certain behavior problems by Athletes.

Just Listened to Geoff Collins (GT) discuss depth chart. Depth Charts are established after each week of practice not previous game. This makes each Practice extremely important for players. Very interesting...caught on Twitter

i have no inside knowledge, but i think not posting a 2 deep by mid-week means there are shake-ups in the roster. i hope whomever is on the field Saturday, at all positions, can right the ship and get WCU a much needed win. I know we are only on game 3 of the season, but i feel like this is a must win game. I just hope the players and coaches don't overlook N. Greenville. A loss to a non-DI team would be catastrophic at this point

WCU does not have the million plus to buy Mark out. We have 5 more years of him regardless of how many losses we take

We have 5 more years of him regardless of how many losses we take At the end of 5 more years of Mark Speir as the WCU football head coach, we will have firmly established WCU football as the new VMI of the SoCon. We've been headed in that direction for many, many years anyway. We're already the joke of FCS football, just read what's said on AGS from fans across the nation about Western Carolina, and we don't have the excuse of being a small military academy school, just incompetent or uncaring leadership.

Damn well said! If only we could pull an Antonio Brown and release him with no guaranteed money under “Conduct detrimental to the team” for the crappy place he’s led us..

That contract extension was certainly a high price paid so other schools recruiters would not be able to say, "You don't want to go to Western, they are about to fire their head coach, then, you'll be stuck with God know who".
