Not that it matters, but what happens if you beat Team A (we get all their territory) and then lose to Team B (who had already lost their territory to Team A)? Just curious how complicated this map gets the longer the season goes on and you start having all the conference games with so many shared opponents. A team holds territory until they are beat. They then have none, until or unless they then beat someone else that holds territory. So, if you beat someone with no territory, you get nothing, if you beat someone with territory, you get that territory to add to what you may already have.

Got it. In a crazy "what-if" that means we win every game and then lay an egg against VMI at the end. They then get all our territory even though they could be a 3-win team. Or if Furman wins them all and inexplicably looses to Wofford in the last game. The Terriers would claim all the territory with a 1-10 record. That is brutal!

I was dreading this week's version, but I did not think one loss would wipe us off the whole danged map!

Yeah - when you lose whoever beat you gets ALL of your territory. Like I said, Wofford could come along and beat Furman in the last game of the season and be a 1-10 or 2-9 team and claim a ton of the Southeast.
