Beyond Desmond, what is our injury report looking like?

Coach Bell was again a bit vague on his show. He talked about getting some guys back, but he made it sound more like in the timeframe of by the end of the season vs anything specific. They talked about McQueen going out and Williams playing a lot (and perhaps his best game as a Catamount), and they talked about Sanez getting his first start and us having to move 2 O-lineman around to not be at their normal starting positions (which is what we did against Furman, too). But I really didn't hear anything about who would be back vs out this coming week.
Guess we will get a 2-deep, but based on the last 2 weeks I am not sure what it really tells us.

This two deep is worthless tbh Why do you say that? I think that this is who we think will play. Coach tends to play 2, 3 and even 4 deep at some positions. I think this 2 deep is what they know now.

I think it tells us we are still trying to get guys healthy on the O-line. That is why we have Coulter listed all over the place and Sanez and Xavier listed at more than 1 spot. Doing the 2-deep this early and having several "OR" players listed means they are holding out hope that some of the guys are actually ready by Saturday. I did notice that McQueen is listed as the back-up, so to me that means he is more dinged up and is avaialable and will probably play, but Williams will start at LB.
And of course Reid - even if he is back and close to healthy seems unlikely we would see him. We need him for the long-haul (possibly playoffs, but definitely the next couple of years). So unless there were literally 3rd opinions from medical staff saying he has no risk wtih his current injury, hard to believe he is the backup much less the "OR" at RB. I would have expected this is a game where we see guys like Townsend or other young players who have games left without burning their Redshirt.
Don't get me wrong - we need to win this football game. But I think we can score enough points and we just need to make sure the Defense holds Wofford to around their normal 10-14 points (they are averaging less than 13 in SOCON play). We scored 38 points last week against the #1 SOCON defense with this same lineup, so I am hopeful we can score 28+ this week.

Wofford in 7 FCS games: 90 total points scored - high of 20 - averaging 12.86/game 189 total points given up - high of 41 - averaging 27/game Average SOCON score (5 games) - Opposition 28.6 (143 points) and Wofford 12.8 (64 points)
While last week still hurts, it did show that when we aren't turning the ball over we are still capable of scoring points with Reid out. Wofford has a decent defense, but they are not the same kind of physical D like we just faced these last two weeks. In the last 3 games they have given up at least 31 points each week (31 to Samford, 41 to ETSU, and 31 to Mercer). And the Terriers are nowhere close to being as dynamic offensively as either FU or Mercer (they average less than 243 total yards per game - 107.3 rushing and 135.25 passing with a high of 17 points in SOCON play).
After the last 2 weeks, I'll be happy with any "W" right now but I expect we can (and should) win this game by 10+ points. We have to hold onto the football when we have it, and figure out how to get guys on the ground when they have it, but we are a much better football team even with the injuries.

I feel pretty good about this weekend.....I think if we get a couple of injured players back not including Reid and have a good week of prep and practice we have a good chance of a upset over Wofford in Spartanburg....

Upset? If we lose they will upset us, we are expected/favored to win even if Reid etc are out.
