The Catamount standing on the state outline, is that an official secondary logo? I've seen it on some online merchandise but I've never seen it officially used by the University. Some of the shirts have a limited size availability. All in all, some nicer looking stuff than what they try to sell "officially".

I was shocked the other day when I went to the UC student store . It was so nice to see all the new items you can get now. I remember having to go to the book store which had a limited selection of maybe a dozen different shirts. I picked out a nice Nike shirt for my wife and was blown away when the sales person informed me during checkout that it was $66. It is a nice polo shirt ,but I will just have to keep a closer eye on what the prices are from now on.

What bothers me and has for years is that WCU keeps such a tight hold on logo items. Everywhere I go I see APP, ECU, and almost every school in the state. Sam's club here in the western part of the state has ECU logo items all the time, but WCU is nowhere to be found. Why does WCU hold on the rights to make logo items so much more than all the other schools in the state, buth public and private? There is a gold mine out there if they would only go for it!!

I do think that stores are now free to obtain Catamount merchandise under the current licensing program. The only hold up now (IMO), is demand. We need to request the merchants to stock the merchandise, then we must buy it, to keep it on their shelves.
