We need to protect Ramsey, like we have in the past few seasons. If we want that last bye, we need this game, plus, beating the saviors of the SoCon is almost as good as beating the goons.

It's not working tonight. They must be having video problems at WCU

Just like at Davidson, Elon, and too many other teams to list, the Catamounts put a decent free throw shooting team on the charity stripe too many times, and lost the game because of it. Certainly when you foul with .06 seconds left, in a tied game and you already have 10 fouls charged against the team, what do you think is going to happen?
The Cougars were sent to the line for 28 free throw attempts, of which they made 20 baskets. WCU had 9 attempts, and made 8 baskets at the free throw line. That mismatch will beat you every time.
You don't need last minute heroics, if you don't give the game away at free throw line in the first place.

I did not get to see the game, but read about it online, was it a foul at the end of the game? Why do we foul so much? I read somewhere (maybe on this board) that Hunter complained about refs, so now we just don't get the 50/50 calls. Whatever it is, I think this is one of the major issues with this team - that and long stretches of scoring.
