I think this class fills most of our holes, I like the linemen, hopefully this will get us over the top.

I think the coaches did well in bringing in linemen, one of our biggest needs. I wonder if that McDonald kid is good enough to be our QB of the future?

According to this article, 3 players from this school (W.A. Hough High School) signed with WCU on Wed., but they do not show up on the official roster. Preferred walk-ons maybe? Walker is a TE, Barnwell is a punter, Gawert is a kicker (kickoffs and field goals). Football – Brett Walker (Western Carolina), Destry Barnwell (Western Carolina), Jacob McCreary (University of St. Francis-Chicago), Kyle Dueitt (Catawba), Akeem Barringer (Winston-Salem State), Tim Gawert (Western Carolina), and Josh Stilley (Coastal Carolina).

Zach Greene will be a Catamount next fall when football season kicks off. The senior defensive end who ended his high school career at Randleman, signed his letter-of-intent last week to play for Western Carolina University. He's the son of Randy and Glynis Greene, brother of Gabi Greene and grandson of Eddie and Phyllis Greene. They surrounded him during the ceremony. Head Coach Shane Handy said he was "really excited for Zach. I know he's going to do a great job. I'll be going to see him play." "This is exciting yet emotional," said Glynis Greene. "We're thankful for the opportunity. Credit goes to Shane Handy and the coaches. All his hard work has paid off." - See more at: www.randolphguide.com/celebrations/x1783678059/Greene-signs-to-play-football-at-Western-Carolina#sthash.SUwLfIqL.dpuf
