I think this is a more reasonable projection of the order of finish this season -
1. Chattanooga
2. Samford
3. Furman
4. Wofford
5. WCU
6. The Citadel
7. VMI
8. Mercer

Here is what I had predicted earlier- hopefull
1) Samford
2) UTC
3) Furman
4) WCU
5) Wofford
6) Citadel
7) VMI
8) Mercer
With all the triple option teams they are down at one skill position or the other, Wofford- no real running threats like 2 years ago QB had 140 yds against us and the winning TD was 80+ yds of that, he had 23 the rest of the season, next best rusher had just over 400 yds. Citadel loses QB and leading rusher, QB killed us last year. VMI loses both starting QB but keeps their leading rusher who had just under 800 yds for the season. With Mercer being new we should win that. Balance seems to give us a difficult time.

It's bad enough to get little or no respect for from that web site that really has no clue what's happening in the SoCon, but I oven look at the boards from other schools, and it seems that Samford just might take ASU's place in disrespecting the Catamounts.

Maybe I'm not a big enough fan or I just don't care but I couldn't care less about other team's forums, they have no idea what is going on here or anywhere else. You know you're not doing well when you criticize other teams in your conference to make you look bigger or better. I think we have a good thing going here and can't wait for spring ball to begin. I have heard great things about the hard work guys are doing to get better and I like what the coaches are doing to build the comradery among the players. This spring is going to be fun.

If we can finish 5th or higher, it will be a good turnaround for the Cats in my opinion.

I know I tend to be on the positive side to start the season and would like to say we will win them all but South Florida although down is still a FBS and Alabama is still Alabama. Just so you know any improvement is good but we should do better than just good. We need to win at least 2 in conference and honestly I think 4 is a real possibility, I think that would put us pretty high up. I don't think there will be a truely dominant team in our conference this year.

You guys are spending way too much time on Southern Pigskin, they have little to no credibility, they do little to no research on articles (or they wouldn't have so many mistakes), and most southern fans think they are a joke.
Too bad they don't do a little better in research, so it's a waste of time reading it.
They were so proud of this article, they didn't even post it on this board, someone else had too.
