Presbyterian is a winnable game I am sure of this and I am also sure that coaches and players alike are learning how to win yet are growing in confidence and know that WCU football still has a long way to go before we are no longer viewed as the whipping boy of the SoCon.
Furman was a great win but these coaches will not allow that to go to these players heads

Furman was a great win but these coaches will not allow that to go to these players heads I agree. The coaches will not hype the Furman game as the "we have arrived" game. They would be foolish to do so. And they won't let the players arrive at that conclusion either. WCU 38 PC 17

I have us winning by 3 scores again like at Furman but I said at Furman winning by 2 Tds and 1 field goal, at Presby I have us winning by 3 TDs, Final 17-38 CATS.

Its easy to want to look at PC as having squeaked by Furman and therefore we should beat them soundly, I believe we will win this game however we are still the team no one wants to lose to

I agree BUT I am hoping Speir is telling the players how important it is for us to save face for the SOCON since Furman lost there and we are much improved. Furman started the same ineffective QB against Presby as they started against us and he's not very mobile or a good runner and Troy is effective as a scrambler, runner, and passer so this is to our advantage.
QB stats- 39 for 65 1 int, rushing 97 all for 4 games, may be to our advantage he doesn't run much.
