After reading about the ticket shutout of Furman for the game in Macon, I was wondering if this was for all SoCon teams? If true, that is some bush league administration running that joint. Wouldn't mind going down to Macon in 2 weeks but need a ticket. GO CATS!

It's my understanding that they only provide an allotment of "player tickets" to all other SoCon teams, and not ANY tickets to sell to the other school's fans.
I'm sure the only reason they provide the player tickets is the SoCon bylaws require each member school to do that.
Go ahead and go, they will sell general admission tickets on a walk up basis, if all the seats are sold, they utilize the "hill seating" rule of selling a ticket to any body that walks up and has the $$$$. My understanding even with their sale outs, the continued to sell walk up general admission tickets for those games.
They just want their stands full of Mercer fans.
Unless something happens, I'll be there, it'll be my closest WCU game of the season.

Not our game, but check out this thread about the Mercer homecoming game. mercer.freeforums.net/thread/56/homecoming-bellhops-happy-bout - it looks like the game is sold out, and the only way to get the general admission tickets for their "hill" seating is to register for homecoming - "When registering please select attendees to be provided with a one-time-use link and coupon code to purchase berm tickets."
