I can deal with losing as long as we’re competitive I can't. Actually, it matters not if we play competitively if we lose. A loss is a loss. If we lose today, it counts the same as the loss did to Samford. The only difference, we played "competitive".

Unfortunately, the defensive guys forgot how to tackle at halftime. Do we actually have a defense?
Between the lack of tackling skills and self-imposed penalties, WCU does not have a snowballs chance in hell of winning today.

One of the many things that have haunted Mark Speir's teams for the last 7 years, is a lack of discipline. That is the one thing he totally refused to correct, and the one thing that he "COULD" do, that would result in wins for his teams.

I bet you are a lot of fun at parties. The season is basically over, I'm happy to have a competitive game (even though it seems to be getting out of hand right now). It is better than watching us get curb stomped every game.

I, unfortunately want more than spurts of good play by the Catamounts.

Unfortunately nobody on our defense can actually play defense so...

I have a serious question for some of the posters - do you guys want us to win or lose? The traffic on the board has seemed to really pick up with our current 3-game slide (like it was early with our first near-loss to Newberry), and some of the posts seem to always be negative. Plenty to complain about, but I am asking this as an actual question - do you want us to lose because you want the staff gone?
I get complaining is natural, and in lots of cases with this team/staff/season it is more than warranted. But we are a .500 football team that finds itself in an 11-point game early in the 3rd quarter. I'd hope we all pull for the guys to find a few stops on D and the Offense to get back on track. A score right here and this is a 4 (or maybe 3) point game.
As Cats' fans, is everybody pulling for a TD right here???
