Since WCU recently finished a $$$ campaign and we know how much it raised, here's how VMI did on their on going "Campaign for VMI"......
from the VMI board:
o Campaign for VMI is at $281 million. It’s led to 71 new academic scholarships and 59 new athletic scholarships, 9 new Chairs and professorships.
o How does the campaign money break out? $150 million to academics, $66 million to athletics, $52 million unrestricted capital, $4 million for Corps Life, and $8 million legacy funds.
o 15% of Campaign $$$ come from non-alumni.
