Baseball Roster on CatamountSports.com has not been updated to include any incoming players.
Lineup card on Coach Moranda's Tweets shows our leadoff hitter to be someone named S. GRAVES playing LF and the #2 batter is someone named D. WALSH playing SS. Neither is one the roster last year or 2019-2020. Must be new players.
Also the #9 batter is someone named B. Barnard Catching. Must be new.
Coach totally quit several years ago making any kind of announcements of new signings. I guess that saves questions in case they don't come or don't stay.

Did some prowling on the Internet and found a Daniel Walsh who was a 2nd year player at Sacramento City College in California 2018-2019 season. He is an infielder but the box scores I found he typically played 2B. Seemed to be one of their mail players. Team record was 35-15.
Is that the right D. WALSH? I guess we will find out in February when the season starts.

It's really sad that so little effort is made to keep fans informed. As I've said in previous posts, this is not a budget issue, and from my perspective, there's simply no excuse. I had to follow OSU's Twitter feed to see what was happening, and of course they don't mention WCU players. Also, I just found out last night (through Miami University's Twitter feed from five days ago) that today's game time was moved up four hours. It seems to me that first step in being a D1 baseball program, is to act like a D1 program. Assume that there might be some fans, scouts, player's former coaches, recruits and potential recruits, relatives, past/future opponents, etc. that just might be interested in what's going on with the team in general and/or certain players. There are easy ways to communicate information, so it seems as though there's simply no desire to do so. I'm not sure what experiences others have had with D1 baseball, but this is certainly not how it's done.
