I think the top 3 in our conference are the real deal. Although Alabama, like Georgia, is not an SEC powerhouse, Furman lost by 8 on Tuesday and East Tennessee fell to Kansas by 12 (75-63) on the road. They actually tied KU 32-32 in the 2nd half. Looks like a fun basketball season in the SoCon...

Looks like a fun basketball season in the SoCon... Saw a little of that ETSU Kansas game, and if ETSU hadn't been cold from 3, it would've been closer than 12. They made a lot of opportunities for themselves and were never out of it |

We are much better than I thought we would be at this point in Coach Prosser's tenure as head coach. We will see when we get into conference play but I would think we could easily vie for a top 3 spot in the regular season. Georgia and FSU are solid Power 5 schools and this team is well coached. Faulkner is the difference. If you remove him from the mix and we would definately be a sub .500 team. I think we win more than we lose this year and surprise some people. I think we will beat UTC on Tuesday and it may be by a lot. Just saying.
