Nov 25 - Chattanooga vs. Tennessee The #17 Tennessee beat Chattanooga 58-46 to extend the longest active home winning streak in Division I to 30 games. Lamonte' Turner had 17 points and 12 assists to lead the Vols, followed by Jordan Bowden with points and 12 rebounds. John Fulkerson scored 14 points. Tennessee built its lead by holding the Mocs to just two points during for a 10:12 minute stretch.

Tue, Nov 26 - another good night for the SoCon, going 5-1 in out of conference play.
Wofford vs. Maryland -Eastern Shore Storm Murphy scored 19 points as Wofford rolled over Maryland Eastern Shore, 67-42, which ended the Terriers four-game losing streak. Murphy hit 5 of 7 three-pointers as the Terriers never trailed in the game. Nathan Hoover had 10 points and eight rebounds for Wofford (3-4), which ended its four-game losing streak. Trevor Stumpe added 10 points and seven rebounds. Chevez Goodwin had nine points and nine rebounds.
Furman vs. Elon The Paladins rolled to a 97-61 win in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament. Furman was led by junior Clay Mounce with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists, uping the Furman overall record to 6-1, while dropping the Phoenix to 2-5 on the season. The Paladins hit 53% of their field goal attempts while holding Elon to 35%. While Elon hit 20 of 24 attempts from the free throw line, it was not enough to over come Furman's 17 of 37 attemps from beyone the three-point arc.
Mercer vs. St. Bonaventure The SoCon one loss of the evening came in this game as St. Bonaventure squeaked by the Mercer Bears, 56-51. Sophomore Osun Osunniyi came off the St Bonaventure bench with a double/double to lead all scoring, with 15 points and 12 rebounds. The Bears ran into a shooting drought the last 2 and a half minutes, costing them the game.
Brevard College vs. The Citadel The Citadel rolled to a 47-90 win over Div. III member Brevard College. While the Bulldogs had 5 players to score in double figures, it was Brevard that had the high scorer of the game, as Ja'Michael Boone scored a game high 16 points off the bench for Brevard.
Goucher vs. VMI As both military schools took on Div. III opponents today, the Keydets rolled over Goucher 98-32 in Charleston, SC. The Keydets hit in excess of 52% of their field goals, and put of 17 from beyond the arc. Four Keydets scored in double figures,
Appalachian State vs. ETSU The main attraction of the night was the App State at ETSU game, played in Johnson City. ETSU's Tray Boyd III hit 22 points as the Bucs topped Appalachian State 78-69. Bo Hodges had 19 points and seven rebounds for ETSU (6-1), which earned its fifth consecutive home victory. App State's O'Showen Williams tied a career high of 22 points. Both teams placed 3 players with double figure scoring. Only the mountaineers' Isaac Johnson completed a double/double, with 14 points and 15 rebounds.

Wed, Nov 27 results - The SoCon won 2 of 3 Wednesday. There will be one SoCon game Friday, none on Thursday.
Bryan College vs. Western Carolina Carlos Dotson recorded 14 points and 11 rebounds to lift Western Carolina to a 78-54 win over NAIA Division II opponent Bryan College on Wednesday. Matt Halvorsen had 16 points for Western Carolina (5-2). Tyler Harris added 15 points and seven rebounds. Mason Faulkner had eight assists. Halvorsen scored 12 points, all on 3-pointers, in the first half as WCU led 34-17.
Furman vs. UT Arlington Furman's Mike Bothwell hit a 3-pointer with 3.8 seconds left that put the Paladins up 58-57 over Texas-Arlington. Bothwell's late score gave the Paladins their first lead of the second half. UTA's TiAndre Jackson-Young's 3-point attempt from the corner rimmed out at the buzzer. Clay Mounce put up 14 points & 12 rebounds to lead Furman to their fourth straight home victory. Jordan Lyons had 14 points and Bothwell finished with six.
Samford vs. South Dakota State South Dakota State's Douglas Wilson scored a game-high 30 points as South Dakota State beat Samford 86-77. Wilson also made 10 of 12 free-throwsand pulled down 10 rebounds. Brandon Austin had 19 points for the Samford, Josh Sharkey added 16 points, nine assists and six steals.

Fri, Nov 29 - Today's only game was Chattanooga playing in the Emerald Coast Classic
Chattanooga vs. Alabama State The Mocs were led by junior Stefan Kenic, off the bench with a game-high of 15 points and 5 rebounds, to a 74-56 win over Alabama State. Kenic was one of four Moc players scoring in double figures. The game was well in hand for the Mocs by halftime, leading by 48-22 at the break. State never seriously challenged Chattanooga throughout the game which up the Mocs record to 4-3 overall.

Sat, Nov 30 - Saturday was a pretty good basketball day for the SoCon, winning 3 of 4 out of conference games, against some good competition.
Chattanooga vs. Jacksonville State The Mocs rapped up the Emerald Coast Classic with their second win as Matt Ryan hit 18 points as the Mocs squeezed out the win over Jacksonville State 63-60. Jonathan Scott had 15 points for Chattanooga, including a go-ahead 3-pointer with 35 seconds left. David Jean-Baptiste iced it with two free throws and a Gamecocks' 3 at the buzzer missed. The Mocs will come to Cullowhee with a two-win streak under their belt.
UNCG vs. Georgetown In the second down to the wire game Saturday, UNCG's Keyshaun Langley scored 11 points and made four free throws in the final 16 seconds as UNCG edged Georgetown 65-61. The Spartans led for the final six minutes, taking a 56-54 lead on a dunk by Isaiah Miller. Another dunk by James Dickey had the Spartans up 60-56 with 2:44 to go before Georgetown drew within one 60-59, but UNCG held on for the win.
ETSU vs. Little Rock In the third closely contested game of the day, ETSU's Daivien Williamson scored 20 points as the Bucs pulled out a 67-63 victory over Arkansas-Little Rock. Williamson shot 5 for 6 from behind the three point line and Isaiah Tisdale scored 14 points giving the Bucs their fourth consecutive win.
Samford vs. Louisiana Tech Louisiana Tech's Kalob Ledoux scored 23 points leading the LA Tech Bulldogs over Samford 78-57 . DaQuan Bracey had 14 points for Louisiana Tech, which earned its fourth straight home victory. Derric Jean added 10 points. Robert Alled led scoring for Samford with 14 points. The Tech Bulldogs win on a 10-0 run in the middle of the first half, and Samford never recovered.

Mercer vs. Cassius Cassius' Jacco Fritz scored 16 points to led the Golden Griffins to a 76-66 win over Mercer. In the last 2:44 of the game, Cassisu went on a 9-1 run to pull away from the Bears and secure the win.
