Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc., Ingles Markets and the Southern Conference announced Monday that they will partner to broadcast 17 SoCon basketball games this season throughout the league’s six-state footprint across a network of Nexstar stations, beginning this Saturday.
The “Ingles SoCon Game of the Week” broadcast package will include 10 regular-season men’s games, beginning Saturday, Dec. 7, when Western Carolina hosts UNC Asheville. The broadcast schedule resumes Jan. 4 with UNC Greensboro at Wofford and will feature one game each Saturday for the remainder of league play.

Jan. 11 – VMI at ETSU, 4 p.m.

Jan. 25 – Mercer at VMI, 1 p.m.
Feb. 1 – The Citadel at Mercer, 4:30 p.m.
Feb. 8 – Chattanooga at Wofford, 7 p.m.
Feb. 15 – Samford at The Citadel, 1 p.m.
Feb. 22 – Wofford at Furman (at Bon Secours Wellness Arena), 12 p.m.
Feb. 29 – The Citadel at Furman, 4 p.m.
March 7 – Men’s tournament quarterfinals, 12 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 6 p.m., 8:30 p.m.
March 8 – Women’s tournament final, 12 p.m.
March 9 – Men’s tournament semifinals, 4 p.m., 6:30 p.m.
Nexstar affiliates airing games: WCBD (Charleston), WGHP (Greensboro/High Point), WJHL (Johnson City), WYCW (Greenville/Spartanburg/Asheville) and WWCW (Lynchburg/Roanoke). Although not a Nexstar station, WMUB (Macon), Mercer University Broadcasting, will also air select contests.
WSPA Sports Director Pete Yanity will provide play-by-play and Dean Keener will serve as analyst for the regular-season broadcasts.
