Something tells me if Mark has another sub .500 year he will be shown the door. New AD will want to make a mark and I maybe wrong but I truly believe the Chancellor really gets our frustration!! At least in her remarks to the AD search committee seems to point that way. She did say sports are the "front door" to the university. Time will tell. If Mark brings in JUCO's this signing day, then we'll know he's pushed the panic button.

GO CATS!! This whole juco thing has people talking out of both sides of their mouths. I heard so many people during the season saying we had to go find some JuCo players. Now when he does that he’s hitting the panic button. I know for a fact he feels the heat, but you just can’t make some people happy. I think if mark wins 5 or 6 games it will buy him more time. I still don’t think she will pay his buyout until about 2 or 3 years from now. |

She cares about athletics but she’s not going to go and try to find 800,000 dollars to buy him out. |

He's had the time, 1 winning season in the last 4. The problem is the $800k plus that is his buyout after next year is still there so 5 or 6 games might be enough to save his job. I am not saying that is fair or right but that is a lot of money for a school like Western Carolina. Unless someone steps up and writes a check, he might get at least 2 or 3 more years. I don’t think he deserves it but money talks and that is real money. |
