I just looked at Warrennolan.com Live RPI. WCU is ranked 142 at 5-0. UNBELIEVABLY Chicago State at 0-5 is ranked AHEAD of us at 140. Maybe because CSU played (and lost 2-0) to #40 Omaha yesterday. WHAT???

WHAT??? Its because they played on the road. We can win 45 games this year and probably have absolutely no shot at an atlarge so i wouldnt look at our RPI. I do like to look at the "Predicted Results" on Warren Nolan www.warrennolan.com/baseball/2020/team-predict-schedule?team=Western-CarolinaWe have probably the weakest schedule in my history with WCU baseball which dates back to 1995. Its a shame but i get the fact we need to win games but still kind of embarrassing with how easy it is or should be. Walter probably needs to be pulled in the 1st inning today. He is awful

Someone made a good point to me the other day. I am very vocal of how bad our schedule is and part of the issue is from what i hear that we want home and homes with teams. Teams are not going to come and play at WCU when we have an RPI in the 200s and that is not going to change because of our weakass schedule. What "big" school wants to come to Cullowhee and play a team that wins 20 games and has an RPI so bad? None because it does them no good. So we end up with schedule like we currently have and still cant win games.
Do we want to try and win 30 games and play crap or continue to win 20 games and play a legit schedule? As recruit or current player im not thrilled with playing Chicago State, USC Upstate, and other weak mid week games. When you have Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, and South Carolina within easy driving distance. Not to mention UNC, Duke, and Wake Forrest in pretty easy driving distance. Heck throw in UNCC, ECU, UNCW. If we gonna lose lose to good teams
