That's nice of the NCAA to do that, but I don't see any plans to allow additional scholarships. Those Senior's scholarships were due to be used by incoming Freshmen or transfers. So how will this work and where will schools come up with the extra money if additional scholarships are allowed?

It says that they voted to have more scholarship players for the 2020-2021 season to accommodate the incoming freshman and the seniors who's eligibility would have been used up. For the extra money for scholarships the article says schools have the flexibility to give the seniors a chance to return without requiring that athletic aid be provided by the same level as the 2019-2020 year it also says that schools can use the money from it's Student Assistant Funds to pay for the scholarships for the seniors who take advantage of the extra year of eligibility.

I don’t remember if it was this article or another one that said it would be up to the schools to figure out how to accommodate this. I could’ve completely dream that up but I’m pretty sure that’s what I read somewhere.
