Now if we can just get it to look like that on the broadcast!!! There will always be problems with the "sun glair" as long as the main camera is on top of the eastern stands, looking into the afternoon sun, setting in the west. Yep. that's why the Press Box needs to be moved to the West Side!!

takes lots and lots of money we did not have before covid and really don't have now during and after covid Exactly, I don’t see any money being spent on anything until the school recovers financially from COVID. Moving everything to the west side is in the master plan but it’s going to be part of a big financial fundraising initiative for it to happen.

We have been talking about this for 20 years. The current administration has said yes we will do it but that is Contingent on raising private Funds which is nothing more than an excuse the administration can use to not do anything and shift the blame to the donors. The only way we can get money like they are talking is to issue bonds like App State and UNC-Charlotte did and our admin does not care enough about athletics to go into debt for it. I have to give it to the new Chancellor though. She is shifting the blame for nothing being done for athletics back to the donors. Sneaky and effective and at the same time disingenuous. We execute bond for every other building project on campus but not athletics. People, please stop drinking the Koolaid. Look in 5 years and we will still have what we have now and please remember that I told you this.

I don't have any secret inside information, however, I think some action will be undertaken when the current athletic bonds are paid off in the very near future. A bond package, along with a fundraising effort to complete at least phase 1 of the long-range plan will probably be undertaken.
Look at all that was build with the last bond package, so I have hope lots will be undertaken. I think the only thing that might throw a wrench into the works, would be declining enrollment. But as long as MC Promise stays around, I think WCU enrollment will continue to grow.

There is a big problem with us floating bonds like ASU and UNCC did. There was a loophole ASU and UNCC slipped in that allowed them to finance the projects. That is not available to us today. We need to lay this one at the foot of Bardow and Belcher for not taking the initiative to explore and move us forward.

If bonds are now out of the question, it's "Katy-Bar-The-Door" on any upgrades to the stadium, other than minor ones. Too Bad.

What loophole and when did N.C. stop financing building projects at universities with the use of bonds. Please provide your source.
