EKU game will be on ESPN+.
I imagine most games will be on ESPN+ like last year, with a couple on ESPN3.

The way I see it is that we just lost two days of this years very short preseason practice time, probably two very important days lost to prepare for Eastern Kentucky.

ESPN+ is horrible, and, I am hoping that the SoCon will get some kind of package, that will have all of the SoCon games on ESPN3.
GO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every FCS conference that has a contract with ESPN has the provision that ESPN decides the platform each game will be shown on. Since ESPN+ is the pay version of ESPN streaming, the majority of games will be on that service rather than on ESPN3 as a way to ensure fans keep their ESPN+ subscriptions. I would not be paying for ESPN+, were not the majority of WCU games (football and basketball) on ESPN+.

I agree, i would not use ESPN+ except for I can catch football and basketball when i can't be there in person

Most of what makes it horrible is our antiquated video equipment and the sun shining into the camera during the game. Unless you mean all telecast on ESPN+. I don’t personally mind paying for it based on how many games I can watch on Saturday.

If I'm not mistaken, our video equipment was purchased at the same time the video equipment for most of the other SoCon schools was purchased, out of the funds from the departure of ASU, GSU, Davidson, & Elon. Our main camera is set up from the eastern stands. looking right into the sun in the afternoon and evening which gives off a shiny blare from the field. Maybe it will be a little better this season with new turf, however until a new media stand is build on the western side their is going to be "sun" related problems.
