Tyler signed with the SK Wyverns, which has one of the worst records of any KBO (Korean Baseball Organization) team.
Their Saturday (yesterday) game was televised on ESPN2 and I recorded it beginning at 5:00 am (since I was not planning to be awake at that time). When I watched the recording (later in the day yesterday), the announcers covered the team signing of Tyler White. He is in Korea and has reported to the team. He has tested negative for the COVID-19 virus but will have to abide by a 14 day quarantine before being allowed to play. I assume he is doing that in a hotel room over there.
You might be asking, "What is a wyvern?" I did not know either. So I looked it up and discovered it is a legendary dragon that moves on two legs and has a tail with a sharp barb on the end. It is a popular creature in European literature (which I never enjoyed), video games and modern fantasy.
Tyler should be playing by the end of the month. You can find the daily KBO scores on the Internet. I do not know if the ESPN family of channels will continue to carry KBO games after the MLB abbreviated season kicks off July 23-24. 가서 가져와, 타일러! gaseo gajyeowa, tailleo
("Go get 'em, Tyler!" translated into Korean.

As of today, Tyler not showing on their roster. Hope he gets a shot.

The translations suggest he's going to play this week I just checked and he has 6 at bats and a .167 OBP. Not sure how that happened because he has 0 hits, bases on balls or hit by pitch. It must be a little lonely there as there are only 3 other players with non-eastern Asian names. Hopefully some of his Korean teammates speak English.
