Four Catamounts – seniors Grady Thomas and Ty Harris, junior Jayden Pauling, and sophomore Isaiah Helms – highlighted WCU's honorees by collecting first-team preseason honors. Senior WR Daquan Patten and defensive classmate Michael Murphy were dubbed second-team, while senior TE Owen Cosenke, redshirt sophomore OL Tyler Smith, and junior DB Ronald Kent rounded out WCU's selections on the third team.

That's a lot more love than I thought we'd get, but it is also for 3 teams vs. the traditional 1st and 2nd team. I wonder how we will do with the coaches and media polls?

I agree - seems like a fairly high number if most projections have us in the 8th or 9th spot in league standings. Patten and Cosenke have tons of experience and good career stats, but we don’t even know who will be throwing them the football. Given our concerns and issues with O-line play last year, it is very good to see 2 OL make the first team and another on the 3rd team.
