I saw this on the Citadel board, from a Mocs fan:
Citadel And Chattanooga to SUNBELT
Up here in Chattanooga a lot of talk that The Citadel and Mocs are looking hard at SUNBELT .
Both are tired of the small time SoCon football and Samford and VMI are looking to move down to Pioneer League in football.
What you all hearing down there ?
The SUNBELT is getting a lot of respect and makes the move up by Appy and GSU look brilliant.
Will Leave little piss ant thinkers like Woffy and Furple to twittle their thumbs and go green (pioneer) too . LOL
We were all for the SoCon at one time but now I need to change my moniker below

I have heard this possibly as well as FCS is getting ready to merge with the smaller D1 conferences as the power 5 may leave the NCAA all together and the schools will have to decide between D1,2 or 3. Many think Furman may be getting out of scholarship sports all together and go D3. WCU cant afford FB. This virus will completely rearrange the college athletic grid the next 12-18 months. I would much rather be in the Sunbelt than D2.
CCU plays in the Sunbelt and I can promise you they don't anywhere close to 15K at their games.
