The league’s baseball teams, which will play three-game series over two days this season as part of the league’s cost-cutting measures, will now be able to choose which day of the series includes the doubleheader and can play either Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday, with those decisions to be declared by the Wednesday prior to each series.
