Sources tell Channel 3 Sports Director Paul Shahen the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga season opener at home against VMI has been canceled.
UTC says "COVID issues with players and staff have pushed back our practice start date, as of now no official change to schedule."
The game was scheduled for February 20.
The status of the scheduled second game of the season on February 27 against Wofford in Chattanooga may be in jeopardy.
