Cats are doing pretty well nationally in the following categories:
Batting Avg & Home Runs - 27th Runs Scored, On Base Percentage & Base on Balls - 5th Doubles - 28th Hits - 15th Scoring - 7th And 1st in Hit By Pitch
Luke is tied for 7th in Doubles Daniel Walsh, Dylan Nanny and Justice Bigbie all in the top 50 in base on balls Luke & Immanuel Wilder 10th in Hit by Pitch while Ferreras is 17th - no wonder we are #1 as a team! Hits: Bigbie 32nd, Walsh 41st Bigbie & Robinson - tie 62nd in Home Runs w/4 each
Defensively - Not as strong in pitching stats because there are a lot of pitchers with low ERA since they haven't pitched many innings. Double Plays - 12th Team ERA - 62nd - not bad Fielding - 80th @ .973
Overall - I'm very excited about this season and the team Moranda and his staff have put together. Looking forward to going to Knoxville for the first game with Tennessee in 2 weeks.

Right now, I just want to beat Mercer this weekend.
They've pretty much taken over in baseball in the SoCon with both WCU and El Cid on the downturn the last few years.
Thanks for posting those stats.

Thanks for posting those stats. This team has some spunk. Pitching is deeper than most think. Some more help is on the way as well. Very solid Freshman class coming in next year. Nice to see them having some success.

I just hope they can keep it going. There is usually a drop in team performance as soon as we hit SoCon play every year. Hopefully they can avoid that this time.
