FINAL - Catamounts 3, VMI 0 WCU claims a weather-shortened series opener. Zebby Matthews with a CG, five-inning victory with seven Ks. Pascanel Ferreras with three hits, two runs scored; Justice Bigbie and Daylan Nanny with RBIs in the win. Sunday DH begins at 2 pm.  |

What has to be done to get Prater on 3rd base? The starting 3rd baseman can not hit. We have two automatic outs in the starting lineup.

VMI, 7-5
VMI threatens in the top of the inning but a couple of nifty fielding plays by Zach Ketterman help keep the Keydets off the board; Catamounts push across four runs including RBIs from Pascanel Ferreras on his fourth hit, two on a double by Luke Robinson.
