Western better score at least 15 runs to make up for our pitching.... Glad to see that the starting pitcher settled down & is pitching a good game so. I had my doubts in the 1st inning. |

In the 9th and Bobby has no pitchers warming up. The starter is getting tired.

Good solid win 7-2....Could have won both....Win Sunday and take series 2 out of 3...That would be a good weekend of baseball....

My Lord, these weekend pitchers have 6 full days off before having to pitch again. Coaches lost the first game. Ice the arms to prevent soreness. |

What was negative in the posts? When you state what is actually happening is not being negative. The first game was lost by the relief pitcher in combination with Coach Mo not taking him out of the game. In the 2nd game the starting pitcher started off the game very shaky. He wound up pitching an outstanding game. Our hitting continues to be very good & our defense played excellent defense. Now what is your problem? |

In the top of the 6th, the Cats lead the Bulldogs 12-2 after a 9 run 4th inning.

The Cats almost gave this onw away in the 9th with 2 outs. Samford scored 7 runs in the 9th before the Cats got that third out for a 12-11 win.
