Sorry I didn't mean to jinx us....Our Best pitcher and Southern Conference player of the week and they are destroying him....Our bats are weak and our pitching is horrible today.....Couple of long balls but need alot more than that...

This is like a JV team playing the Varsity, and the Cats are not playing like a varsity team. No errors, but they are just not making defensive plays, and the pitching leaves much, much to be desired.
UNCG keeps hitting singles, and continues to drive runs home, inning after inning.
UNCG has 13 hits in less than 5 innings.

We might make the SoCon tournament, but I'm doubting it.
We certainly won't go as winner of the red division. This was against the 3d place team in the blue division. These guys should be embarrassed by their performance.

I take back what I said before....I didn't jinx our pitching it just stinks...Period!......17 runs on 19 hits.......This is a unacceptable performance and sure as heck isn't going to win a Southern Conference title....

I think we will get good pitching today at UNCG but we need the bats to wake up and we need to play good defense error free..... What a disaster. I had live stats on my phone while driving home from Chattanooga. We swung the bats fine, but our pitching was overwhelmed and reeling from start to finish. |

That was just plain ugly. Safe to say every conference game is a must win at this point with Mercer and Wofford doing well in the Red.

This is going to be uglier than yesterday. Back to back hit by pitches, to load the bases an walk in a run, unbelievable.
Why does Moranda leave these guys in so long? After you get behind by 5 runs, it's too damn late.
2-1 UNCG, one out, bases loaded. Scratch that. It's now 5 - 1, runners on 1st and 2d, with only one out.
Now, Moranda starts warming up relief pitchers.
