In my opinion, I am glad it is Samford. I don’t know who Coach Moranda was hoping to play, but in my opinion, we match up better against Samford than we do against Mercer. If the bats stay strong, we will beat them. We might have to piece together our pitching, but if we can get 5 or 6 innings from our starter and hit like we have in the last 5 games, we have a great chance to beat Samford.

Prior to last week's series with The Citadel, Samford was the last series we won, scoring 24 runs in 3 games or close to our season average of 9/game. We need to keep the bats hot, and hope we choose the right starter.

If we win do we play the winner of Wofford and Mercer tomorrow? And, when we win, they have to beat us twice.

This is correct. The loser of our game plays the winner of the other game. So if we win, we wait on Samford to play the Mercer v Wofford winner. If we lose, we play the winner of that game.
Whoever comes out of the losers bracket would have to beat the winner of our game twice.
