UNCA would seem like the likely option, but I guess it is all about people trying to fill-out schedules. I am guessing basketball is not as hard as football, but I imagine scheduling is still hard. Maybe WCU is in consideration because of the crowds we have taken to the SoCon tournament (especially when we have gone deep into it), but you would have thought whoever the "local" team is they would have been one of the first to be secured and not the last???

This tournament was held last year, and I don't think there were any local teams in it.

Asheville is trying to become a sports destination. I wish them well, but I don’t think their tournament will draw much without local team(s) being involved. If they had WCU, UNCA, APP and ETSU, it would be a sellout.
