Pretty challenging schedule, in my opinion... And covering most conferences this side of the Mississippi River and a couple of schools on the other side.
ACC - Wake Forest.... (yes, N.C. State would have been tougher)
SEC - Tennessee.... (yes, home and home would have been better)
AAC - Houston (3 games)... (East Carolina might have been tougher, but 3 games is about as good as it gets for out of conference)
AAC - Cincinnati (on their way to the Big 12 conference)
Big 10 - Michigan State... (Michigan might have been tougher)
Big 12 - Kansas.... (yes, Oklahoma State or Texas Tech probably would have been tougher)
Conference USA - Middle Tennessee (an unknown quantity, but we are covering representatives from a host of conferences)
America East - Stony Brook... (typically one of the powers of that conference; and 3 games!)
Missouri Valley - Illinois State... (a strong baseball conference; and 3 games!)
Ohio Valley - U.T. Martin (an unknown quantity, but we are covering representatives from a host of conferences; and this is 3 games!)
Big East - Xavier... (St. John's is typically the best team in the Big East; but this is 3 games!)
Metro Atlantic - Niagara (Not a powerhouse baseball conference; but this is 4 games!)
Big South - Presbyterian, Gardner Webb, UNC-A & USC Upstate (yes, Campbell might have been tougher, but these should be 9 challenging games)
Atlantic Sun - Kennesaw State (always a powerful team)
And having 4 of the 7 SoCon weekend series at home is good... this year. Next year, it will only be 3 of 7 at home.
