Move over basketball, baseball is going to give you a run for your money this season to see who can lose the most games.
The Cats have given up 7 runs in the 8th and 9th innings, now 10 - 5 Middle Tennessee. (5 runs scored by MT in the top of the 9, and no outs). This got ugly quick.

Instead of improving, I say that Western's pitching got worse this year, rather than improved. Middle Tennessee is not a highly rated team, this is pitiful, and don't bring on that BS about midweek games. If Coach Mo can't be embarressed, well then WCU sure can be. The Cats did not score the last 4 innings.
The 9th inning looked like this:
Stocum struck out swinging (1-2 BKKS).
Ferreras singled to third base (2-2 KBBFF).
Prater struck out swinging (0-2 KFFFFS).
Ketterman struck out swinging (1-2 BKKS).
The Middle Tennessee coach put in his Friday starter: Peyton Wigginton - in the 8th inning. That's how bad he wanted to win this game.

I didn't hear or see the game today, but it now seems we have gone down hill in every sport we play, except football. Isn't that strange?

Has B'Mo EVER made a pitching change that worked out? It seems the only games we have any chance of winning require the starter to go nine and the offense produce double digit runs.
