At the half, it's UCLA 31 - Carolina 28 #15 St. Peter's made it to the elite 8, beating #3 Purdue 67-64 Here’s hoping St Peter’s beats Carolina. I doubt it but one never knows. I think I might pull for the Russians against Carolina.  |

For the size school as Houston (45,000+) they sure do not draw a crowd. I believe Western has a bigger crowd most games compared to Houston. Kind of pathetic as they are located in the 4th largest city population wise in the US. You would think they would draw better and fill the place up with that many people to draw from. I guess they do not have a big fan following.

Both of Houston's runs were scored on wild pitches, it's now tied 2-2 going to the top of the 4th.

Western seems to find ways to give games away. If not errors, wild pitches, poor fielding, lack of mid relievers. You name it, the Cats do it.

Pitching not so good. Bats are doing pretty good so far. If our pitching could develop, we would be a pretty good team. Hopefully as the season progresses, the pitching will improve.
