I sometimes wonder if Moranda even worries about winning conference games, just get wins in the conference tournament.

We played in the conference tournament Championship in 2021. Big Deal, did WCU win the championship? No. Is making a run in last season's tournament an excuse for a horrid season this year. Admit it, we have no relief pitchers or we have no coaches that know how to coach pitchers, sorry Sandefur but the facts speak for them selves. |

I think the head coach's theory for this season was to just out-hit every opponent. I guess he forgot other teams can hit as well, and they also have decent pitchers which I guess Moranda forgot about. 17-6 is an embarrassing loss to a team picked below the Catamounts in the preseason. It's time for a change. If Moranda can't hire a good pitching coach, and NOT interfere with that coach (he's said to be a big micro manager), it's time for him to move on to greener pastures. |

Samford has 17 hits and 17 runs to win the series 2-1. 6 runs is just not going to win a lot of SoCon games unless you have good starting pitching, solid relief pitching and a good closer. |

We are bottom feeders in So Con in every sport Except Track We are only competitive in track. No longer do we win championships in that sport, men or women. I know everyone is excited about the prospects in football, but it seems that the rest of the sports are going or have already gone in the other direction. |
