It will be interesting to see who pitches today. No starter announced.
It seems obvious from the pitching pattern so far this weekend that the number of pitchers in whom the coaches have confidence is a small number.

This weekend is one of the very few times in the last 30 years that WCU has played baseball in Charleston that my butt has not been in a seat down there. But given a number of situations, including the disappointing season so far, high gas prices, other personal time commitments and the ability to watch it on TV, I have stayed home. But I will be sitting in the same chair this afternoon that I sat in Friday and yesterday. Sorry.... I had to shower and change clothes.  |

This weekend is one of the very few times in the last 30 years that WCU has played baseball in Charleston that my butt has not been in a seat down there. But given a number of situations, including the disappointing season so far, high gas prices, other personal time commitments and the ability to watch it on TV, I have stayed home. But I will be sitting in the same chair this afternoon that I sat in Friday and yesterday. Sorry.... I had to shower and change clothes. Will you be in Cullowhee for any games this fall? |

Could not get the bats going today. Pitching and defense were good enough to win. At least we won the series.

Hey, 32... I went to the USC-Upstate game and we did a late-inning swoon. Also went to the Houston weekend series and only pulled them through one win. You don't have to tell ME when to stay away....  |
