Western Carolina softball travels to Atlanta, Georgia this weekend to compete in the Panther Invitational hosted by Georgia State.
The Catamounts will play Northern Iowa and Tennessee State on Friday, have a rematch with Tennessee State and face-off against Georgia State on Saturday and close out the tournament with its second game against Northern Iowa.

» vs. Northern Iowa
This is the first meeting between the two programs.
Northern Iowa enters the Panther Invitational 0-6 and searching for its first win.
The Panthers are led by Faith Standerski who is hitting .357 with five hits, a home run and two RBI.
The Northern Iowa pitching staff carries a 5.00 ERA and teams are hitting .315 against them.

Western Carolina and Tennessee State meet for the third and fourth time this weekend. The Tigers hold a 2-0 record over the Catamounts.
