That’s a tough draw. I am not sure why Charlotte is such a high seed. I guess because Conference USA is considered a strong conference. I think we can beat them and Coach will have them ready to play.

Wish I could be there. My middle child lives about 10 minutes from the arena. But I'll be in the Keys with my youngest and their first child's first birthday. Tough choice!  |

I think we can beat them and Coach will have them ready to play. I think they are considered a high seed mainly because they were a bubble NIT team whose NIT bubble burst. Possibly a little to do with the schedule they played, Charlotte's historical reputation in basketball and possibly that they are moving to the American Athletic Conference. But in the CBI, seeding is really a crock of bull malarky. The Cats should not and I hope will not be intimidated by that. I do know from some of their fans, they are disappointed that they are in the CBI. Cats can take advantage of that. |

From what I have seen, the CBI seedings are based on the team and its conference NET and RPI rankings. USC Upstate should be a couple spots higher than their 15th seed.
