Between Furman taking down Virginia and Princeton upsetting Arizona, my bracket is toast. Does make me wonder how the Cats, who beat FU once and took them to OT in the tournament, would have done had we won the SoCon tourney.

I think if we had been matched up with UVA we also could have won. UVA and "Tony Bennett" is known for that slow paced, offense with a suffocating defense but if you can overmatch and get hot offensively they are and (were) beatable. Heck UVA has the distinction of being the actual #1 seed to lose to a #16 seed when they lost to UMBC and then the next year they win the National Championship. So UVA is a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde type of team.
Personally, as long as we were able to shoot and score we too would be moving on after beating UVA. So hopefully, tomorrow in the CBI, WCU will also be moving on after a victory against Charlotte.

I doubt we'd have been seeded as high as Furman though. Fair chance we'd have dropped as low as 16, in which case we might've seen Purdue again. I didn't realize it, but this is the first time the Boilermakers have been a one seed since ... 1996. Wouldn't that have been something?
