The Western Carolina softball team returns to the friendly confines of the Catamount Softball Complex this weekend as the Catamounts welcome mountain rival ETSU for a key three-game Southern Conference series. The teams open with a doubleheader Saturday beginning at Noon followed by the series finale on Sunday at 1 p.m.  |

Cats win, 3-1 Brooklynn Brewington had a day on the bases, stealing a school record four bases in the game and is tied for the program career record with 50. Mattie Mentel hit the go-ahead single in the fifth. Game 2 is scheduled for 2:35  |

Cats win game #2, 7-3 Kennedy Stewman broke a 3-3 tie with a solo home run as part of a four-run sixth. Tessa Juett picked up the win and relief & smacked a triple! We close out the series with Senior Day tomorrow  |
