📌 Cullowhee, NC ⏰ 1 pm 🏟 Childress Field 📊: Live Stats📺: ESPN+ Guys, I’ve been watching Catamount Baseball for a long time & I must say this year’s pitching staff is the worst that I have ever seen. There’s not one pitcher that I would say deserves a baseball scholarship. I could give a list of the jokes on this team but I know Jerry would not let me. A lot of scholarships need to be pulled by Coach Beck at the end of this season. 68, i don't question your expertise, and don't have the knowledge to assess our pitchers' potential past what the boxscore tells us. But my thought is that "we have a lot of room for improvement on our pitching staff" might be sufficient criticism of student athletes. We have recruiting challenges, pitchers are hard to come by, and some of these guys are probably playing on partial scholarships. That said, it's a free country. Go Cats! |
