G-W's new coach pledged, “We will prove that every single day through our work, through innovation, through faith in Jesus, and through an ability to connect and build relationships. I promise you, you will get a transformative student-athlete experience. We will win. I’ve won everywhere. I don’t mean that in a braggadocios way. I mean that in a truthful way. We will win football games, and we will win a national title. I don’t have a hard problem saying that. You might not believe it right now. I promise you; we will make a believer out of you. I promise you.”

Seems like every coach being hired at the FCS level is promising Conference and National Championships. They can’t all be right.

I find this interesting because in Lambs statement about why he wanted the ETSU job, he said that GWU did not have the resources to chase a national championship. So, one of them is wrong, which one? I'd say Lamb knew what he's talking about...

Well, my 4th grade school teacher graduated from GW and never corrected students who used improper phonetics such as phonetically incorrect speaking "chair-actor" for the word character rather than phonetically speaking it as "care-actor" and scolding me for saying santa wasn't real at our class Christmas party. So...
Anyway, seems like nothing has changed at GW. Say whatever, promise whatever, let's see what happens.
P.S. All apologies to those that still believe in santa, not trying to judge your "chair-actor".
