Happy to get the win. I didn't like how we seemed to take the foot off the gas when we were leading by a lot only to let Wofford back in the game. We need to develop that killer mentality so that leads don't evaporate. Pretty decent crowd, I thought, given that classes don't resume until the Tuesday after MLK Day. Loved how coach implored those in the student section to be there EACH. AND. EVERY. GAME!

Question for some of the long timers........what is WCU's best start? I don't think in my 24 years of Catamount athletics that I ever remember being 13-2
Cats let a big lead slip away tonight, but were able to hold on for the win. Also, Woolbright was clearly frustrated by Wofford tonight (and the poor officiating). It was great to see Jackson and Campbell step up and hit some big shots to help secure the win.
I think Coach Grey was talking to everyone, not just the students, about packing the RAC. Keep supporting this team ......they have the potential to do something that hasn't happened in almost 30 years!

I have no complaints about a win because you can watch any bball game on TV or live and the momentum changes throughout the game, however I would love to see all of our teams, not just basketball, to keep their foot on the opponents throats and go go go…..we just seem to go into play to not lose, rather than play to win….
