Wake is ranked 13 for a reason. That’s a good measuring stick on where we are and gives us something to strive for. Coach Beck will eventually have some better teams, but we will not be back to where we are competing for conference titles again until we upgrade our antiquated sub par facilities. Hard to convince star pitchers to commit to play for the Cats, when every school in our own conference have newer shinier facilities. Not to mention the Sun Belt teams that all have nicer facilities. We can get to a point where our ceiling will be 30 wins a year but not much more until athletic facilities become a priority for baseball.
