$275k?!?!? We should play all big-time FCS schools on the road for OOC games going forward. Kidding - but wow! Should pay us more for backing out of next year. Ha Their stadium seats 25k+ and are basically sold out every game. We average half of that and have the largest attendance in the SoCon. We toured there facilities on Wednesday and it looks like a FBS program.

We toured there facilities on Wednesday and it looks like a FBS program. Who toured it and why? Is WCU trying to copy it via renovations? I wish, but I doubt it. I think we are more concerned about adding the press box and having a better chancellors box on the west side than we are about adding seats or doing things that help the fans, coaches and most importantly players. I overheard someone say that we are finally going to have a proper chancellors box. Who cares? I know that the players, coaches and fans don’t care. We need more seats and nicer locker rooms, meeting areas and practice facilities if we want to attract better athletes. I don’t think that in recruiting you tell the recruits that we have the best chancellors box in the SoCon. Again, it seems that even when we get to spend money, the priorities are better facilities for the leadership and not the student athletes. It is beyond frustrating. If we consistently won the SoCon and made runs in the playoffs, we could draw Twice as many fans every game. So no I don’t think anyone from Westerns leadership has the vision to look at what Montana has and imagine the possibilities.

Does anyone think the offense will show up today? I hear we have hurt players but I don’t think that is the only reason that we have not been scoring points. We lost to an inferior Campbell team and hung around last week and made a couple good plays and got lucky and won. We were outplayed last week for 3.5 quarters. I would hope that Kerwin might have more of a hand in the offensive play calling this week. Otherwise we could get embarrassed against one of the best teams in FCS. I think Jim said last week that Kerwin is coaching with his heart and not his head. We may think we are playing the best players and we may be, but when the ones you are playing are not scoring touchdowns and winning games someone else deserves a chance. Otherwise you are handicapping your team. If we don’t come out physical and punch them in the face early, it will be a long afternoon and a long plane ride home. These kids and coaches need to step up and execute.
With that said, I will be yelling at the TV and pulling for THE CATS!!!

I guess you don't know the reason for the new press box and chancellor's box. The concrete on the upper level of the east side of Whitmire has been crumbling for years and has basically been condemned. Construction on a new press box, chancellor's box and a third level will begin on the west side after this season is completed. Eventually more seating will replace the east side upper level with a structure somewhat like the west side and a new seating section will be built on the west side beside when the bands currently sits.

I know we lost player talent and coaches on the Offensive side from last year but weren't we told we now had depth? i don't know if it is the OC or the players but the offense has been "off" for sure so far. I just want this team to show up and play well and then if we lose, we lose knowing we gave it our best. Who knows, maybe if we play well we can pull off the upset but I don't want to see another crappy and mistake ridden game or hear the same old excuses about depth and injuries.
