What happen to AJ Columbo? He was a late game scratch. I'm guessing he tweaked something in warm-ups?

Samford had like 68 yards rushing on 33 carries and Mercer only had 39 yards rushing on 34 carries.

Furman's coach expressed his displeasure with that last touchdown pass to Kerwin after the game. It was an icey handshake for sure!! I thought the handshake did not go well and it went on longer than it should have. I saw Bell try to walk away and Clay held onto his hand so he couldn't

Bell is not going to make many friends in the SOCON, but I am not sure he cares much about it. I think he is more of the Spurrier mentality that it is not his job to stop his offense - it is yours.
That being said, I can understand Cole’s last drive from how backed up we were, but I am sure Hendrix was ticked about us throwing the last TD vs just running it. If we run it in there nobody probably cares, but because we threw it deep…

It was an opportunity to give the second-string QB an opportunity to see what he can do in a real game setting.

If we run it in there nobody probably cares, but because we threw it deep… They’ve twisted the knife in us plenty of times over the years, and will do it again as soon as they get a chance. Let Taron fling it is what I say. That said, as soon as we got out of the shadow of the goalposts on that previous drive, I’d have yanked Cole, for two or three reasons

Hopefully you guys don’t think I have a problem with it. I am just saying that is what bothered him. He had all his starters in there trying to score to the very end. So again - not our job to stop our own team.
I was just saying it is funny how nobody cares if we run it in there. They get upset because we threw it in Taron’s first drive of the entire season.
