In a truly FWIW post, I took a look at some of the message boards that pick SOCON winners.
Here - everybody has picked WCU (as we should on our own board!)
AGS - lots of posts but very few pics. Right now I only count 3 total with 2 for Mercer and 1 for Western
UTC - 6-2 in favor of the Cats and even one of the Mercer votes says he can see it going the other way
Doesn't look like the other sites have a weekly contest.
Massey's prediction has dropped from Mercer with a 64% win probability to now a 57% chance, and from a 30-24 score to now a 30-27 final.
Sagarin has the league rankings as (number is ranking of all college football teams):
118 Chattanooga
139 Mercer
151 Western Carolina
161 Samford
163 ETSU
205 Wofford
210 Furman
231 Citadel
249 VMI
I'd guess as the home team and with the higher rating, Sagarin would also predict a relatively close Mercer win.
I haven't seen any lines or odds anywhere yet.
