Keep in mind my reply was to wcugamer2's comment of us needing blowouts against VMI and Samford and that I don't see that happening with a fumble prone QB. That horrible int. in the end zone before the half last week was not a bad play call...it was totally poor decision and execution. Just being realistic...not silly...we don't have the current QB to produce blowouts. We are not going to any playoffs this year. We might have if Cole had stayed healthy. Horrible pass, no question. But he shouldn't have been standing in the pocket when the O line wasn't protecting him (and maybe he's too short). Eight sacks is nuts. He makes things happen with his feet. |

I hate to see some of you get your hopes up for noting.....They are not going to take 4 SoCon teams for the playoffs period...Maybe 3...Mercer is in even with a beat down from Alabama this weekend ( SoCon Champ )......ETSU will not lose to Furman at home this weekend...( Furman is the worst team in the SoCon) The only chance we have is if Samford can knock off Chattanooga this weekend and that want happen because unlike WCU Chattanooga shows up for the big pressure games and we have never learned how to do that.....I understand your hopes but you are setting yourself up for a let down...

I have been trying to get excited by this game all week but for the first time all year i can't do it knowing we came so close to the playoffs and a SoCon title if we could of held the lead in all the games we were ahead in. This team showed a lack of finish starting with game one. Also looking through the known prospect list it does not seem like we have alot of help coming right now. Not very many verbal's compared to past Bell seasons
