I noticed a lot of starters on the sidelines like Blue Monroe and Bo Simpson. Any idea how bad the injuries are to our starters not named Cole

Respectfully, I have a prediction about the Samford game. This week I noticed that there were not as many posts in the game thread because we played an inferior team that we had more talent than and the game was never in doubt. If we jump on Samford quickly, and get and keep a lead, there will not be that many posts because all of the folks that are negative will not have much to say, but if we go back and forth, the negative posters will come out of the woodwork. If that happens, we will hear that, it’s the Bob Water’s curse, the team is not disciplined, our defense is bad, we need to change QBs, Kerwin can’t coach, the DC is terrible, this team is trash, etc. If we win, we will hear that we still will not make the playoffs, and we will hear that the SOCon will only be a one bid league this year and that we will never win the conference or make the playoffs, etc. I have noticed that if Kerwin ever leaves, we have a lot of people who can step in and fix the team immediately.  Not saying that all opinions are not valid and they are, but wanted everyone to know that there is a 100 percent guarantee that is what they will see. If we win or lose or we make the playoffs or not, I do not agree with any of the negativity. I think that Kerwin, his staff and these young men that work hard every week to positively represent our school deserve our respect, admiration and support no matter what the outcome. I want to win too, but I refuse to give up and throw in the towel because we lose a game or get behind. Next year we will be the best team in the conference if we can keep the team together. Again, everyone has a right to post whatever they want, but it is very predictable how the game thread will go based on what happens on the field is all that I am saying. We should remember though that the Coaches, Players and Recruits read this board. Maybe we should consider, if we would not say what we post to the player or coach face, that we may not want to post it on this board. GO CATS!!! |

Did anyone watch Coach Bell's post game presser? If so he said something that caught my ear. Maybe he is just talking or maybe he answered a question or questions we have had on here. When talking about QB2 he said he will have one of the best back next year leading the team aka Cole. That would also mean the question about would Bell leave I think was answered with that quote too
